Types of Medical Carts
Supply Carts hold everyday clinical supplies on units and in patient rooms. The standard size is 27″ W × 26″ D × 40″ H, with soft-close drawer slides, stainless steel handles and 5″ casters (two locking).
Emergency Carts, also called crash carts, hold resuscitation supplies for codes. You can choose drawers or doors, and drawer fronts come in 16 colours so they can be colour-coded.
NICU Carts keep supplies close at the bedside in neonatal intensive care.
Delivery Carts and Fetal Monitor Carts organize supplies and monitoring equipment in labour and delivery. Electronic or key locks are available.
Bedside Cabinets are medical cabinets on wheels for patient rooms. They have 3″ casters (two locking) and can be ordered with hidden casters or fixed glides instead.
Custom Carts are built to custom dimensions, drawer layouts and work surfaces when a standard size doesn’t fit.
